Stars come out for Christmas at Sanctuary Cove

Gather your family and friends for Sanctuary Cove’s annual Community Christmas Concert, Sunday 4 December, 5pm and 7pm. Hosted by Channel Nine’s Paul Burt and Libby Stone, the concert evokes the magic and spirit of Christmas with a selection of special entertainment.

This year, vocalist Stan Walker will be the special guest artist, presenting a mix of his popular hits and festive season classics. Since reaching the heights of national and international stardom via Australian Idol, Stan has enjoyed regular hits in the charts and popularity as a performer.

And remember the charming gents who engaged Australia and made the finals of Australia’s Got Talent? “Benchmark” is Australia's Gold Medal Seniors barbershop quartet who will delight with their ‘a cappella’ harmonies in a repertoire of soulful ballads and toe-tapping melodies – just the right key for traditional Christmas cheer!

Local 13-year-old, Lauren Smithers will be one of four junior performers to take the stage. Lauren recently competed in the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, against performers from over 40 countries, winning the bronze medal.

The Australian Girls’ Choir will present a repertoire of Christmas Carols and no Christmas Concert is complete without a visit from Santa, who is scheduled to ride his sleigh into Sanctuary Cove to add his magic to this feast of festive entertainment.
